Our Robots

Spitfire

Created for the 2022 FRC Season Rapid React, Spitfire competed in the AeroSpace and Ventura Regional Competitions, making a semifinal appearance and winning the Quality Award.

Led by seniors Ishaan and Jonathan, Spitfire was expertly crafted to dual intake cargo and index them up to a flywheel. An adjustable hood allowed for shooting from any field position and limelight code allowed autonomous aiming. In the endgame, Spitfire activated two elevator lifts to climb into the Hangar. With both lifts able to hold the full weight of the 120-pound robot, Spitfire could easily climb to the traversal bar. With drivers Ethan and Leo, 2584 was a force to be reckoned with.

Dreadnaught

Created for the 2020 Season Infinite Recharge, Dreadnaught competed at the LA North Regional before a tragic end to the season due to Covid. Dreadnaught also competed in the 2021 at home season.

Led by Chase, Valen, Luner, Brandon, and Chris, Dreadnaught was a force to be reckoned with. It’s top-notch drivers allowed for the quick intake of up to 4 power cells from the ground, which were then shot into the high goal. Through fast trench runs, our robot’s offensive capabilities were far above the rest. Dreadnaught also featured a color wheel spinner and a climbing mechanism capable of climbing onto the shield generator for a huge point bonus. Additionally, in the 2020 Season FTW won the Chairman’s Award at Ventura Regional.

Red Rover

Created for the 2019 FRC Season Deep Space, Red Rover was a finalist at the LA North Regional Competition and as captains of the second place alliance, Red Rover qualified for and competed at the World Championship.

Red Rover utilizes a swinging arm and free rotating wrist to score cargo and hatches. Capable of reaching heights of 7′ and scoring in the rocket ship’s top hatch. Our first powder-coated robot, Red Rover could strike fear into the hearts of its opponents. Additionally, it had a limelight system for targeting different game objects and a West Coast Drive to fluidly move around the field. In the endgame, Red Rover pushed itself onto the top level of the HAB for maximum points, while leaving space for other alliance members to join them.
